keep the grateful times rolling.
After a snow day at home with the roommate of making cards, drinking hot cocoa, reading, resting, relaxing, etc. I am feeling overwhelmingly grateful for my life and the people in it.
Most of the cards I wrote today were thank-you cards - to say thank-you for everything from Christmas gifts, to positive influences in my life, or simply for friendship. This inspired me to transfer some of this thankfulness to my blog and write some more thank you’s that have been on the brain.
Dear Shoulder Surgeon: Thank you for taking care of my Mama and fixing her shoulder for her. You brought her through and she has now dubbed herself “FrankenMama” after the stitches and staples you hooked her up with. Gruesome and grateful.
Dear Carmex: Thank you for making a stellar product that keeps my lips chap free all winter. I couldn’t survive it without you!
Dear Roommate: Thank you for being a soulmate to spend the day crafting with me, drinking hot chocolate, and making comments at our endless supply of TV on DVD. It has been a wonderful snow day for the books :)
Dear Slippers: Thank you for keeping my feet warm during all seasons and therefore keeping my whole self warm. Cold feet = cold girl.
Dear Real Simple Magazine: Thank you for putting beautiful pictures in your magazine that were worthy for some much overdue cards for friends. You helped me get my crafternoon on.
The list of thank-you’s continues!
