for you hadey boo.
Well. It is Tuesday. And I had no happy thoughts post for yesterday. Monday. Quite frankly it was one of those days where I changed into my pajamas as soon as I entered my house, my rear end was parked in my spot on the couch, and there it stayed until I poured myself into bed at 10. Monday, Monday, Monday.
I thought no one would care notice that I had lapsed on my previously promised cheery Monday thoughts, but who came through but the little sister. She has specifically requested that I make up for loss time, so I will do just that. These are for you boodle.
1. Watercolors. One of my girls painted me an picture over the weekend with her brand new water color set. “I love you Ms. Rogers” is painted in huge block letters over a rainbow background. Monet, watch out. She’s coming for you!
2. Candles. On such a dreary, rainy, yuck of a day, one small lit candle can make a world of difference in a room. So I did just that to brighten my mood. “You in your small corner and I in mine!” - MLF
3. “When are you and Mr. Logan going to get marrieddddd. I am so ready to see the pictures. Can you do it this year so that we can see?? When he gone give you a big ring? A diamond ring? What does your mama think about it? Isn’t she ready for you to be the married?” - (say all of this in a 6 year-old hispanic girl accent and you get why it made the top five list)
4. Revisiting the terrible youtube crazes I had forgotten about. See Scarlett Takes a Tumble, Aicha, and The Grape Lady. If you somehow missed out on the phenomena that these clips are, please enjoy!
5. Awkward Family Photos. Since I did nothing of interest on my Monday except go to work and sit on my couch, I had some great tv watching and internet surfing sessions. And so I happened on these gems.

Mom, you are always looking for new poses for the Christmas card. Xmas 2011?

Did I mention I used to be a flautist? Too bad never tried for this photo op.

Last but certainly not least, introducing our new clam baby! Welcome to our crustacean family! Do you think the baby was named Ariel? Sebastian? Scuttle? One can only hope.
So there you have it. Happy uneventfully late Monday ya’ll!
