0 notes February 16, 2011 descriptions. We are working on descriptive writing in first grade currently. Their first assignment was to write a descriptive story about me, as a group. This was volunteered today: C:Ms. Rogers I think you are very supportive of us. Me:C, what a nice thing to say! That made me feel so good to hear you say that. Thank you! C:No problem. (And he gave me a little head bob.) Rest of Class:What is supportive? Me:Will you go ahead and explain to them what that means? C:OH. Welllllll, I knew it was something nice to say, and I knew you would really like it if I said it. But I'm not quite sure what that means. Perfect. Charmer at age seven? Definitely. Honest? Definitely. Full of a little hot air? Absolutely :)
